We usually recommend to use fresh semen sample for insemination with the Applicator Extra. If you are not intending to inseminate immediately after ejaculation, please keep the semen sample at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Do not place the semen sample in the fridge as the sudden temperature change can be detrimental to sperm.
Please note that the semen sample in the collection cup can only be kept for up to an hour.

No. The sperm syringe and semen collection cup are all single-use items.
Reusing any of the items in the kit may lead to an infection. Tap water used to wash the parts can have hidden nasties that may affect your sperm. The Applicator Extra also has a special medical-grade lubricant which helps sperm swim better. Washing the Applicator Extra or its parts can remove this special lubricant, making it less effective. We recommend using a new kit for each try to avoid the risk of infections. -
No, the twoplus Applicator is not suitable for individuals who have undergone tubal ligation. Tubal ligation involves cutting, clipping, tying or sealing shut the fallopian tubes, and this means that sperm cannot reach the egg naturally, thus preventing pregnancy.
Since the twoplus Applicator is designed to deposit sperm close to the cervix, it would be ineffective in this situation.
If you are trying to conceive and have undergone tubal ligation, please consult with a healthcare provider for more personalised advice and to discuss your options.
