We recommend using at least 3 Applicators during each fertile window, inseminating every other day. Your fertile window refers to the 5 days before ovulation and the day of ovulation.

Push the Applicator in until you feel some resistance. If you don’t feel any resistance, push the Applicator in until the handles are at the entrance of your vagina.
The handles of the Applicator are meant to remain outside of your vagina, do not push them into the vagina.
-
Keeping the Soft Tip in increases sperm contact with the cervical mucus. This allows more sperm to enter the cervical mucus, and ultimately swim towards the egg.
1 hour is sufficient time for sperm to swim through the cervical mucus. -
The Applicator is designed with a rounded barrel and no sharp edges, making it highly comfortable to use. You should not feel any discomfort when using it. To minimise the odds of discomfort, kindly read the instructions included in the kit carefully.
In the unlikely event that you experience pain, irritation, or any form of discomfort during the insemination process, please stop immediately and consult your primary care physician or gynaecologist.
-
We recommend using fresh semen sample for insemination.
Semen sample in the collection cup can only be kept for up to an hour.
If you are not intending to inseminate immediately after ejaculation, please keep the semen sample at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Do not place the semen sample in the fridge as the sudden temperature change can be detrimental to sperm.

Yes, you can use a fertility-friendly lubricant such as Conceive Plus Fertility Lubricant the twoplus Applicator to enhance your comfort. These lubricants are pH-neutral and will not hinder sperm’s movement, unlike regular lubricants.
You can purchase fertility-friendly lubricants from major pharmacies such as Boots.
-
No, the sperm syringe and semen collection cup are all single-use items.
Reusing any of the items in the kit may lead to an infection. The Applicator also has a special sperm-friendly lubricant which helps sperm swim better. Washing the Applicator or its parts can remove this special lubricant, making it less effective. We also recommend using a new kit for each try to avoid the risk of infections.
Once self-insemination is completed, dispose of the entire kit.

Absolutely! As long as you're still ovulating, you can use the twoplus Applicator.
We do recommend having a fertility check first, especially as timing is key and it's helpful to rule out any underlying issues.
Some couples over 40 have shared their success stories with us after using the Applicator. You can read one of their stories here.
-
No, the twoplus Applicator is not suitable for individuals who have undergone tubal ligation. Tubal ligation involves cutting, clipping, tying or sealing shut the fallopian tubes, and this means that sperm cannot reach the egg naturally, thus preventing pregnancy.
Since the twoplus Applicator is designed to deposit sperm close to the cervix, it would be ineffective in this situation.
If you are trying to conceive and have undergone tubal ligation, please consult with a healthcare provider for more personalised advice and to discuss your options.
-
A menstrual cup is designed to collect menstrual flow and sits lower in the vaginal canal. The lower vaginal canal is acidic and can harm sperm.
In contrast, the Soft Tip holds sperm close to the cervix, a more conducive environment for sperm and increases sperm's contact with cervical mucus.
